The Durgapur manufacturing facility needed a practical steel shed that provided usable floor area, clear internal movement, weather protection, and an efficient construction programme. Portal frames, roof trusses, purlins, bracing, and connection details were coordinated as one fabrication package.
Components were prepared through cutting, fit-up, drilling, welding, and staged trial checks before finishing. Identification marks and an erection-friendly dispatch sequence helped the site team locate and install members with less handling and avoidable delay.
Checks covered frame dimensions, connection locations, weld quality, straightness, protective coating, and readiness for roofing work. The completed package supported efficient installation and delivered a durable industrial enclosure suited to the facility’s operational needs.
