Structural Repair and Rehabilitation

The operational facility in Durgapur required assessment-led repair to address distressed concrete, local deterioration, water ingress, and areas needing structural strengthening. The solution had to improve serviceability while respecting existing site access and continuing operational constraints. Repair zones were identified and prepared before removing unsound material, treating reinforcement, rebuilding sections with compatible repair systems, and completing strengthening or waterproofing where required. Work areas were isolated and sequenced carefully to manage safety, dust, access, and coordination with facility personnel. Checks were maintained for substrate preparation, repair depth, material application, curing, bond, and final finish. The rehabilitation work restored affected areas and supported safer, more dependable continued use of the structure.
